I don’t know of any public teacher that I don’t know on a personal level who has affected me, my views of Scripture, the objectivity of truth, and the Gospel more than John MacArthur. I am immeasurably grateful to him, and I pray that the Lord would prolong his life so that his ministry can continue for as long as possible. And although I do not agree with his views on the spiritual gifts (which he discussed in this interview), I loved this interview. He is so resolute and he has such a pastoral heart. I just love him.
